Adrian first got involved in the music business as a 16 year old, helping out a nascent ‘Fatboy Slim’ with his mobile disco! He later discovered ‘Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine’; guiding the band to international success, including a UK number one album.
As Company Director of an artist management company whose clients included ‘Chumbawumba’, ‘Drugstore’, ‘Katy Puckrick’, ‘My Life Story’ and ‘The Senseless Things’; Adrian worked on 21 UK top forty singles and 15 UK top forty albums.
Dartington College of Arts appointed Adrian to provide specialist music industry advice to businesses and set up the Dartington Recordings label. He worked closely with Dartington Plus, leading on music projects, including the annual South West Sound Convention. Adrian has been chair of both the HERDASW Creative Industries Special Interest Group and the South West Music Industry Forum.
Now based at University College Falmouth, Adrian is currently a member of the SW Creative Economy Partnership and chair of the ‘RELAYS’ Festivals and Events Operational Group.
