The Institute of Advanced Broadcasting
The Institute of Advanced Broadcasting (IAB) is a research centre, focussed on the future shape and business impact of convergence in the media, telecommunications and IT industries. The IAB will work alongside broadcasters, content developers and key industry players to inform the future of media in a multiple platform world.
The IAB will be showcased at Creative Capital, explaining its work in the field of converging broadcast technologies and the impact of changes on content creation for new communications channels, today and in the future.
Creativity and Innovation on Show
This celebration of innovation and creativity will include a packed programme of events, launches, sandpits, networking sessions, exhibitions and shows. The University of Wales, Newport will be hosting Fashion Shows, launching a unique portal to help you to access the newest talent in the fashion industry – and the latest technology solutions and talent in photography.
The daily Fashion Shows will showcase the new talent emerging from Newport this year. The programme has received acclaim for encouraging a wide range of fashion clothing that include collections of commercial appeal and equally feature collections that move toward the avant-garde but always demonstrate a wearable vision of the fashion future.
